High caffeine use linked to psychotic symptoms

I quit coffee a couple of days ago but started to feel bored and flat without it. So I drank a coffee an hour ago and am feeling better.

I’ve tried quitting coffee a billion times because I’ve noticed a relationship with my anxiety and psychotic symptoms. I always get back to it though. Quitting is hard. It’s a social thing too.

I think caffeine makes me feel better too. I tried to go without it once and I got a headache so I drank a cup of coffee and felt better.

I drink a very strong black coffee an hour before a nice meal or other highly pleasurable event. Caffeine increases dopamine so I get more of a dopamine pleasure hit. It works, but helps if you really focus on the sensations of pleasure and enjoyment. The effect greatly increases after a couple of months of doing it a few times a week. It’s a good way to train your mind to focus on pleasure sensations.

I still hear a voice whether or not I drink coffee. So, I drink coffee instead of eating a lot.
