Where does cow’s milk come from?
Seriously, I felt great shame and guilt from being dependent on cow’s milk. I don’t use it now.
Cows milk from a cow
PASTURISED cows milk is the only milk I like
I don’t like taste of homogenised milk
I drink a lot of one per cent fat milk. It’s healthier. I drink about three gallons a week.
The latest studies are saying that milk is not so good for the body, I don’t give a ■■■■, I have started using 2% milk in my coffee again.
Cream and Half and Half is just too rich for my taste
Don’t like full fat
Don’t like skimmed
Do like semi skimmed
Did you ever get the idea that milk comes from a beating? I think I did from watching woebegone cows staring at me while chewing their cud. It chilled me to the bone.
I can no longer eat red meat it make me feel sick especially if raw
I’ve never heard of cows getting beaten. I think in general farmers kind of like the cows.At least appreciate them. I don’t know, though - getting milked all their lives. Maybe the look is more - seeming like worn out mothers.
My uncle had dairy cows. He hooked them up to machines that replaced milking by hand or calves being fed. Every day of the year he had to be home in the evening to ‘milk the cows.’ That required a certain amount of dedication, at least.
I didn’t mean that farmers beat their cattle - only that a cow’s frame looks beaten compared to a human’s frame. A comment on, maybe, evolution. I looked at our dog one day and thought he looked like he had been a deer in a former life and maybe got hit by a car and so became a wolf- like dog. Sorry, I was being quite cryptic.
The frame is to hang the beef on.
By “frame” I meant a cow’s figure, build, shape of his body, whatever.
Yeah. I got that part. To me it looks like the ‘beef’ that we eat is hanging from it.
I’ve been a vegan for years. Physically, I’ve never been better. I’d been in good shape before, but, as I mentioned, there was guilt and shame.
The body can use fresh milk from a dairy cow raised by an ethical farmer. Unless there are allergies to be concerned about, the body will benefit receiving such milk. Not factory farm milk, though.
I am a vegetarian who loves fresh dairy.
A friend of mine was not able to donate blood once because she stopped drinking milk. They told her she did not have enough protein. She had been a regular. Milk is a fine source of protein.
