Latuda working yet causing hair loss! No way…I’m 43 female any drugs out there that are similar? Hate this! Help
There are plenty of antipsychotics out there, but they all work a little differently.
There’s a chance if you switch to a different one, even if it is chemically similar, that it will not work as well for you as the Latuda does. I understand hair loss being distressing, though, especially for a woman.
Have you discussed this issue with your psychiatrist?

How do you know it’s latuda? Is this a known side effect?
Not sure how to reply. actually no it’s not a known side effect but if you do your research there are plenty of other people having the same problem with Latuda, I know because unfortunately I went off all my medications bad idea ! I did this for approximately 5 months and my hair begin to grow back, but so did the paranoia and voices so I gradually went back on it I was at 80 mg I started back on it with 20 after a week went to 40 after 4 days went to 60 I’m at 60 now and am starting to notice the hair loss again!
