Not heavy metal but after the success of the NIN concert I am now going to see the Offspring
Had to take several diazepam for NIN but it worked and kept me calm. I also did not take clozapine until I got back home
man I would kill to see NIN …good for you @Joker
Thanks @jukebox
It really was something
That was going to be my last gig if I could not manage the crowds
But I did it with a bit of help from PRN
Very happy as this used to be my main hobby before covid
Good for you, man! Concerts and music festivals are so much fun.
I saw today that Three Days Grace is coming to central Michigan September 19. It’s at a large outdoor venue more than two hours away, but I might go, even though I plan to buy a ticket soon for a concert in Detroit the night before. It wouldn’t be the first time I attended concerts on consecutive nights like that, did it last September in fact.
I saw Three Days Grace for the first time three months ago at a festival, and they played a great set. It would be cool to see them as a headliner. I Prevail will play before them, and I forget the name of the other opener.
Also, I used to live in the town in central Michigan where the concert is being held, so there’s nostalgia, though some of it is bittersweet. But hey I could get a burger at this one local tavern before the show, would be fun, just a long drive.
So I now have tickets for three concerts next month: September 18, 19 and 27. Hell yeah, going to be a great couple weeks .
The 18th will be Dope, and Static X (headliner); it seems like there should be another band, but those are the only two listed .
The 19th will be Return to Dust, I Prevail and Three Days Grace (headliner). It’s going to be at a large outdoor venue, more than 150 miles away, but it will be worth the drive. I’ll be on the lawn. I briefly watched Return to Dust at a festival a few months ago. I walked away because they sucked lol, but I like I Prevail and Three Days Grace. It will be my first time seeing I Prevail.
The 27th I’ll see Peeling Flesh, Shadow of Intent, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Lorna Shore (headliner). I’m very excited for Lorna Shore, saw them at a festival last year, and they’ve become one of my favorite bands. I’ve never actually listened to The Black Dahlia Murder, and I’ve never heard of the other two, but man I am excited for Lorna Shore. I’m taking a friend to that one; it’s her birthday.
Now to be patient as I wait a month…
The song ‘no visitors’ by the band ‘he is legend’ is a banger. Love that whole ‘heavy fruit’ album.
Favorite song on the album! I think lol. I like this one, too. Sounds like an early 2000’s Deftones album
