Heavy metal is so soothing

Try this out. you don’t have to like it

Anyone else notice how goths and metal heads seem over-represented in sz treatment populations? In two I saw first-hand, the correlation was waaaaaaaaay evident.

NOT saying this is “bad.” (Actually it seems completely understandable. These kids are drawn to lyrics that make sense to their experience of life.) Just pointing it out.

You can listen to metal without being a goth or a metal head.

Yup. Totalistic, all-or-nothing appraisals are as unnecessary and unrealistic here as they are pretty much everywhere.

I listen to metal (occasionally), and I am neither, btw.

We don’t define ourselves by labels.
Though others try to label us to fit their little diagnostic boxes.
There are all types of people here, universally hampered by problems that we will surmount in some way.
If not now, then some day by the hope of the human spirit.

I wish it was true. From my perspective observing as many abused, invaded, invalidated and injured people as I get to, I’d say most of them did exactly that.

I LOVE black/death metal - Behemoth, Rotting Christ, Swallow the Sun, Incantation, Nile, etc.

Awesome one! Epic

this song has some epic riffs and melodies listening to this tonight

Instrumental version.

WOW this was insane, I love orchestral metal

@Malvok you may like this, progenies is at 9:28 .

Yeah, it’s good stuff. I remember when Metallica played with an orchestra, it just didn’t work. This is a much better fit. Progenies is around 33:45.
