I saw Ozzy Osbourne live in his prime.
Now he’s lost his mind, must have been all the drugs.
Oh man I consider myself an amateur metalhead. I am going to see Dream Theater in November and I can’t wait.

Good list…is god dead would have been better if it was slightly faster…it feels a little drawn out…I like how the renamed the song…but still used the same 3 words just in diff order…

He has always had manic depression aka bi polar but yes the drugs certainly didn’t help 
Cool you gotta see him in his younger days. I certainly didn’t recognize him when I saw old pictures of him. From very young, when he was kinda blondeish or at least brown hair. I think he dyed his hair black at one point.

Ozzy still manages to sometimes make sense despite all the drugs. I know hes sober now too. Wonder what his breaking point was or if it was gradual over time. He did just about every drug in the book

Is he sober?..I wonder how many takes in the studio it took to get a coherent line out of Ozzy when he was still getting massively plastered…I also heard there’s a gene that either stops you from being able to od…or raises the od ceiling way up there…and he has it and its names after him…

That’s interesting lol. I might have that gene too. Don’t wanna go into details, or test it either. But I should’ve died once I took so many drugs it was insane. Just got tired and ■■■■. Oh well I’m not testing that theory.

Oh and how ■■■■■■up do you have to be when Ozzy in his prime of drug use tells you your fired for using and drinking too much…zakk wylde one of his guitarist…also now sober…
I wonder how that gene even formed…the evolution on that mutation is probably a good story…

Well ozzy has blue eyes so we have a common ancestor since I have blue eyes…so maybe we share the od gene too. But like I said, not testing that!
Yea I didn’t get to see Led Zepplin because my parents wouldn’t let me.
Maybe why I’m a head banger to this day…

They are great, Seen them 3 times and Jordan Ruddess as a Preshow to Steven Wilson.
Ruddess is phenomonial, there’s a video of him doing 2 different songs each hand in a different time signature, while talking at the same time!
this music video is cool. Ozzy hadn’t quite lost his mind yet but he wasn’t young. I think it’s interesting to watch.

My roommate first year of college said once that I was like Iron Man from the Sabbath song. I had never heard it, so I didn’t get it, didn’t realize he was sort of insulting me. It’s true, though, no one wanted me back then. I also was very sick, but unmedicated, undiagnosed.
