Head phones loud music no voices

Do it. It works you will be in your own world not thiers were crazy.

I use music a lot to drown them out…headphones don’t work well for me though…so I turn my phone up and shop to metal…eases my anxiety and calms my voices…don’t really care if it annoys the other shoppers…I might look a little crazy singing and shopping but I know I look completely insane stressed out and hearing voices in public…peace is worth the dirty looks I get from the old people about my music selection…

I have to use hearing aids now from ear damage caused by headphones and loud music. This is a poor strategy in the long run. :frowning:

Oh, and for the record? You’ll still hear the voices just fine even when you have trouble hearing other stuff.

Good points…music doesn’t block them for me either…just drowns them out and I focus on singing the words to the song instead of the crap my mind decides I should hear…but my hearing is also starting to fail due to a work place bad habit I had of not wearing hearing protection and obnoxiously loud metal music…ah and then the end game of hearing loss would render the strategy of music as a weapon null and void…you would be stuck with silence of the real world…and no distraction ability from the Sz voices…thanks @shutterbug now I have to come up with a new coping mech for the voices…

The singing implies that someone is stealing and tells the store to call cops or watch security cameras. Do you have a friend eho works at the store you could text on the low? Thieves will set us up for that stuff.

Whistling too. Sry, i am feeling sick today.

Nah never been bothered by security or the police…I don’t steal and singing albeit my voice isn’t awesome I don’t think its call the police bad either…lol I didn’t know that was code though good to know…
