I never had anybody Asian interested in me. It’s kind of interesting I guess.
Yeah I think it’s like Italian or any other Mediterranean nationality. Lots of variance. I’m pale, but my brother is super dark. Most of my cousins are very dark, but a few look like me. We look adopted next to each other.
i know what ish is saying, it is more of a cultural issue than skin
I’m right here. ![]()
You are cute indeed!
Aww, thank you, pretty lady!
My mother taught me growing up to marry and date a person for their heart, as opposed to their look/ethnicity.
I hope you and your bf will continue to work through all of this @anon80629714.

I’m Mexican but I’m what people call a guero. It is a term meaning white boy. I look white. One of my uncles from my mom’s side did an ancestry study and found we are mostly of Spanish descent. From my dad’s side they’re a little more dark. They have some native Mexican blood. My oldest sister is a morena. Meaning she’s got darker skin when she tans. I think morenas are beautiful but then so are most women as far as I’m concerned. I agree with what Monte said as well as others. It’s like Martin Luther King Jr. said, content of character matters not skin color.
As for your boyfriend @anon80629714, I once saw a documentary about dark Indian women being mistreated maybe that has something to do with it. I also had a Filipina friend who told me in the Philippines they sell tons of creams meant for whitening skin. It’s a shame that sometimes women try to live up to those type of beauty standards. No offense to any women. I just mean it shouldn’t be that way when it comes to skin color or hair for that matter. But whatever makes them feel more comfortable I suppose.
@anon80629714, Does his mother look white? Maybe his mother is half white?
He’s ok now daydreamer we just met yesterday
She’s definitely not half white. It’s strange as I’ve seen his bros kids they all look white and imagine if I did have kids
they’ll be cute but won’t look like me
I’m like ninjastar… I’m 1/4 Filipino and the rest is a mix of European and a dash of native american…i look all white despite my grandma being full flip…and my mom being a sweet Asian halfie…
I’m 1/8 Chickasaw Indian, but I’ve had people tell me that I look like I have more Chickasaw blood in me. People have thought my dad was half. I feel a little affinity with the Chickasaws, and I’m on the Chickasaw tribal roles, but I think the dominant strain in me is the Scotch Irish Presbyterian. It’s my Calvinist heritage that dominates my thinking and acting. I think my ancestors are in Northern Ireland, but I have no allegiance with their fight against the Catholics. I think it is perverse for people to use religion as a basis for fighting. I’m proud of my Chickasaw heritage. They were the most warlike of the Five Civilized Tribes, and they kept the French from coming up the Mississippi River into the states of Mississippi and Tennessee.
I’m a guera. I’m half Mexican and half white but people tell me that I can pass for white. My sister is a morena.
The researchers showed that most Indian populations are genetic admixtures of two ancient, genetically divergent groups, which each contributed around 40-60% of the DNA to most present-day populations. One ancestral lineage — which is genetically similar to Middle Eastern, Central Asian and European populations — was higher in upper-caste individuals and speakers of Indo-European languages such as Hindi, the researchers found. The other lineage was not close to any group outside the subcontinent, and was most common in people indigenous to the Andaman Islands, a remote archipelago in the Bay of Bengal.

There’s a great deal of mixed race ancestry in the States. I’m mostly of Irish and German descent. My boyfriend is of Greek and Navajo ancestry, but he looks white.
My daughter is white. Her boyfriend is so black that he sucks up all the light nearby. The only real problem for me is photographical. Very difficult to photograph white and black people together because of how digital sensors work. With white folks you generally like soft lighting, shape those shadows. With really really REALLY black people, you want harsh lighting that brings out the specular highlights on their skin, gives their faces definition and makes them look great (while making the honkey next to them look all dimpled, wrinkly, and horrible).
Other than that, no issues!
