I’ve been on abilify for 6 years continuously and it hasn’t stopped working yet. I’ve no idea what I’d do if it did.
There’s some (small) evidence that abilify doesn’t suddenly stop working.
Have you ever had a med stop working?

I live in fear that geodon will stop working and I will be back at square 1.
Tbh no med I have been on has ever worked on more than about 60% of my symptoms. I am on polypharmacy too. For this reason am not to concerned with a med crapping out. When clozapine craps out on you, like me, you just become pragmatic
But I think brexiprazol is coming out in Europe @everhopeful. I think you have a large scope for good effective treatment for many years to come
Yes that’s true. If abilify stopped working I’d probably try that.
it happen on two meds . this one has lasted 16 year. it hell for meds to stop/
Are you on abilify? If so that’s encouraging news for me.
yes and i did a study to on it and ■■■■ it is still working
the down side is you need to watch med blockers. my be why you are ? it
things like coffe and vitamons
Yes, i have tried it with several AD’s, now im on Marplan but it is not working anymore.
It’s called tachyphylaxis, Abilify is supposed to be without a risk for tachyphylaxis, but not in your case.
Hope you find another med, amisulpride should be good for negative symptoms/anhedonia.
No I’m ok. I’m just worried about what happens if it stops working. It’s still working.
No med ever stopped working for me unless of course, I stopped taking it. You would think I was an easy case. Still didn’t feel well though.
