Happy Summer, you guys

going anywhere this year.?

I try reminding my mom, yes my son is very patriotic
but he hated every vacation we went on,

except Florida, then he thrived.

I might do a stay-cation, hopefully Phil will take me somewhere,
but we don’t have much money.

I might try to get another credit card, or borrow some money
from very rich aunt. ha.

Happy summer to you @Daze

No, I’m not going anywhere. My last vacation was maybe in the late 1990’s when I visited my sister who lives in the Washington DC area. I’m on disability now and can’t afford to go anywhere.

I hear ya. we have in past summers made a putt putt golf course in the backyard, and played cheap badmitton over the fence. you don’t gotta have money to enjoy summer.
I wanna get Deoge a cheap baby pool. ha.

I’m just happy it’s not cold with ice, sleet, and snow. I go to my psychiatric clinic activities center three days a week, so I get out.

that’s great. I just wanted to tell you something kinda funny,
everytime I see your profile name, I think of Blues Clues.

not sure if you remember it, kids show, my son loved it, blue dog.
I even made a cake for their birthday one year with a print
of the dog on it. it turned out to be a hit. ha.

I’ve heard of Blue Dog. When I was a kid my favorite show was Captain Kangaroo. Blue Dog is a later generation I think.

I’ve only been in a place where it’s actively snowing once! Chicago O’hare flying into the states. Went outside for a smoke and it was lightly snowing. First time I ever saw it!

ohh, that airport was a wake up call for a small town girl.

I did it all the time commuting flight to go see my dad in Florida.

I grew up in Little Rock, and I’ve seen snow since I was a kid. It used to be fun when I was little because you got out of school.

Yeah fond memories of O’hare. Got picked up for a secondary and was put in a room with others getting handcuffed to seats…Ticked the wrong box on my incoming ticket. Was stressful as but eventually got out and had missed a flight etc. I had a backpack full of medications like 6 months worth and ticked I have a mental illness…should have just left it off!

I have been to LIttle Rock a couple of times. My ex Mrs folks were from Fayetteville so we’d drive through LIttle Rock to get there. Nice town from what I saw!

I don’t want to get into politics, but things aren’t real good there right now, right, @rogueone

I hear about it on Facebook.

It’s not bad considering. You talking about Oz? We’re a pretty slack liberal democracy. I agree we’ll avoid the politics.

My mom went to the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville to complete her Master’s Degree. She was a public school teacher. I mostly stayed with my grandparents while she was away, but I went and lived in Fayetteville a couple of weeks with her.
