I want to hand out candy tonight but my dad doesn’t want me and my stepmom to hand out candy so we’ll just watch a movie.

I’m dressing as a ghost and going to hand out candy. This Halloween my mom and I are going to set up a table outside and wait for trick or treaters for a few hours. Looking forward to seeing some neat costumes. One time this little girl dressed like Boo from Monsters Inc. It was super cute. She looked just like her too.

We’ve got a houseful of kids. I’ll be taking some out in the van to tour their grandparents’ houses and a teacher’s house.

Target was out of candy. I got some Reese’s cups and twix to pass out at the grocery store. I’ll probably run out of candy.

Well I’ve been sitting here on the porch for 2 hrs and not one kid so I think it’s time for dinner and some kind of scary movie, maybe even a schlocky one - I haven’t seen Hatchet 3 yet, so who knows…

It’s almost 7:00pm and no kids yet.
It’s 6 pm. Going to put my bowl out.

The kids are trick or treating. It’s hard not to eat the candy. Already ate 4 pieces. Maybe I won’t run out after all.

It’s just after 8:00pm and we’ve closed the door and shut off the porch light. We only had 8 kids.

It’s a little after 8 pm here. I’m almost out of candy. The older kids are around now, and they’re not as sweet as the little ones. I think I’m turning off the lights and calling it.

The kids started showing up about an hour ago. Eventually I ended up retreating to the backyard. My neighbors were having a get together and I don’t feel like socializing. I scared a bunch of babies while dressed as a ghost. It was unintentional. I had to remove my costume about three times and explain it was just a Halloween costume. Many babies left crying. I guess ghosts are spoooky. That’s partly why I left.
