I’m hallucinating about hearing scratching in the walls and it has been getting worse this past week and it’s driving me nuts. The odd thing is, my dogs will start looking at the walls and give an undertone growl like they hear it too, but I don’t know if I’m hallucinating their behavior as well??? Anyone else experience scratching hallucinations?
MAybe you have rats in there?
I had ants doing noises in the walls.
One time I thought I was hallucinating bugs running back and forth in the living room while I was trying to relax and watch tv. I kept happening night after night. I was just trying my best to ignore it but it was bothering me. One night I saw it and low and behold my husband saw it too. Turned out we had a mouse. So I bet if your dogs are alerting to it you have a mouse in your walls. I didn’t want to but for the safety of my family I had to catch the little bugger. It’s just not sanitary to have them running around pooping and getting into stuff. You should set some traps before it has babies.
Could it be mice?
We had mice in the walls and the attic last year. I would check if I were you.
I live in an apartment complex and reported it almost a month ago. This is what has taken place since then:
-
They came over for a physical inspection about 3 wks ago after I initially reported it and said there were no signs of rodent chewing or droppings so they set traps under the sinks, in cupboards, crevices…etc.
-
2 weeks ago they came back out after the scratching sounds persisted and cut a small hole in the wall I hear it the most from. Still… No signs of bugs, mice, or rats.

I live with my mom and brother and neither hear anything as every time I take them into my room it stops. Although, my mom said she thought she might have heard something a few times but it was faint and couldn’t be certain if that was the same thing I was hearing. That’s why I chalked it up to a hallucination. Although…that doesn’t exactly explain my dogs behavior.

maybe you have mice
Having a baby is normal, but having a mouse, OMG !
In other words, it is best to change your frame of mind rather than get caught up in something.
Humor helps at times.
