Have you thought to change APs? Good things are heard about Abilify and effectivness of Invega.

I’m not sure. I’ll prob stay on the haldol because it’s very effective for me but idk.

Abilify made me like crazy.

I also take perphenazine.

That is harsh, it is very old AP, do you feel drunk on it? do you drink at all? How do you even got prescribed that?

Idk my doctor put me on it a couple years ago. No I don’t feel drunk on it and yes I do drink.

I don’t get any side effects from it.

Do you drink?

Really rarely, I used to drink quite a lot when I lived in UK. I really hate hangovers, so I stopped. I feel really anxious the next day and my mood is affected. I am more like coffee with a cigarette guy lol

Sorry to hear that, do you suffer from bad negatives as well?

Depression symptoms sometimes… I haven’t classified them as negatives because it only happens when I’m depressed.

I do, however, become frozen and cant do anything because of fear.

You probably are having panic attacks right? or intense paranoia (they are really similar) I have them too. Do you take any anti-depressants? I suffer from Major depressive disorder, so I can understand how you feel.

That is a lot, i was on few meds when i was hospitalised, do you still go to a ward sometimes?

It works pretty well for me. Some voices No side effects really.

At times. However, I’m very clear and determined to get better. :upside_down_face:

I hope you will. Medicine moves forwards everyday, genetic medication will come out soon and SZ might be cured forever! remember more and more doctors and psychiatrists get graduated each year and enter the market! Maybe new APs will be side effect free! who knows!
