I normally have 1 cup of weak coffee in the morning. Today I had that plus 2 extra cups late in the day.
I felt overly ‘normal’ for about an hour, then overly good. I only take 1 weak cup in the morning as if I overdo it like today , in a few days I feel really bad.
But I hadn’t done that in so long, it felt so good to feel ‘normal’ if only for an hour.
I wonder if I could do it every week, the way some people ‘celebrate’ Friday night for example. Probably not though, as I’ll probably feel like I have a hangover from it tomorrow and the next day.
I would be careful consuming too much caffeine - I do not drink more than 2 cups of coffee in the morning.
Caffeine is a stimulant and can interfere with meds and trigger or worsen anxiety/psychosis.
I sleep much better now that I limit my coffee intake to 2 cups - but my anxiety is still over the top
I drink coffee and I do not think that there is any problem with this. I try to avoid coffee in the afternoon so that my sleeping would not be disturbed.
