Music and internet, my usual go to, was unsatisfying
I didn’t even try video games
But then I picked up a book and bam! I got enjoyment.

I’ve been reading dune recently, maybe 30% through and enjoying it but making very slow progress

It’s a very complicated story! I had to take notes, or be content with not completely knowing who was who and what their motivations were.
But I didn’t “get” the movie at all.
I had to watch the movie about 10 times before I understood it. I tried listening to the audiobook but got completely bored with it half way through.
it’s cool to switch entertainment forms sometimes, at least for me. the only sacrifice is usually my time though.
