Monday morning my cat passed away, after thirteen years.of her companionship. It’s so lonely in this apartment now.
Tuesday I got a rejection email from the job for which I interviewed last week. I had gotten my hopes up.
The only bright spots to this week have been getting approved for unemployment compensation on Tuesday, and getting a paw print tattoo in my cat’s memory on Wednesday.
Hopefully next week will be a bit kinder to me. Maybe I’ll get another job interview, at least. Here’s hoping I feel a bit better.
It’s too soon for me to want to replace my cat. I need to get rid of the fleas in my apartment before I bring another pet in here, anyway. But yeah, might be a while before I got another cat.
That’s understandable. Fleas can be rough to have. It’s a good idea you’re going to get rid of them. You’re a very productive person freakonaleash. I’m sure you’ll find employment soon enough.
I’m sorry about your cat. They can be good company, I like how they look in your eyes and fall on the floor for you. I hope better times are ahead for you.
Yeah, I still haven’t brought myself to empty, wash, and put away my cat’s food and water dishes and litter box. That’s going to be hard, maybe I can tackle it tomorrow, not looking forward to it…
