My face was all swollen and sore 2 days ago. Fortunately dentist gave me antibiotics to bring down swelling. Not nearly as bad now. Still a little sore though. Gonna have the bad tooth extracted on 4/6. Taking antibiotics until then. Amazing how much a little toothy can cause you pain.

Yes I feel you.
I had a bridge and a supporting tooth under it got infected. I couldn’t just get it removed as it was trapped under the bridge. My face swelled up and the pain was more than excruciating. It was unbearable as the tooth rotted out.
When they removed the bridge it just came out so easily as it was rotten and dead. I had antibiotics too. Paracetamol didn’t touch the pain. I just had to wait for it to die.
The worst pain in my life and I have broken a bone and it was nothing compared to that.

That whole post is what I went through about a week ago. I have an appointment with a private doctor who does extractions scheduled on the 8th but I ‘m going to cancel because I can drive an hour to get it done free somewhere else.

I had a couple of abscesses (tooth infections) in the past.
My whole face swelled up!
Looked like I got beaten up by a professional fighter!
The dentist gave me antibiotics (Augmentin)
Until I had the infected tooth fixed.
The Antibiotic took care of the swelling right away.

I don’t miss dental pain, it was so horrible. My sympathies to all.

I hate toothache. It is true. Teeth can cause so much pain. I wish I’d thought about that before I neglected my teeth. Now I have stupid fillings. And pulled out teeth.
