now my mood’s up for no apparent reason. hmmm
Enjoy it !
I’m moody too. I take a mood stabilizer, that helps a lot. Also I practice being detached from my emotions so if it gets really bad I can take a step back and try to get control of myself. It helps sometimes. I’m hoping to get better at detaching from anxiety because that’s a really big problem for me and that’s where I need the most help these days.
yeah leaf i have anxiety disorder. my daughter has been telling me that she thinks i need a mood stablizer. i have been stressed for many years notw and i really went into overdrive 2 1/2 years ago when my husband passed away and i was put on oxygen. i been dealing with my own grief and trying to help my daughter deal with the loss of her dad and my illness. I just feel overwhelmed and i can’t hardly get out anymore so i haven’t seen my psychiatrist and therapist since like the beginning of winter. hospice is taking care of my meds now i might ask them about a stabllizer i find i cry everyday now too. i would love to try to be happpy up to the end but it just isn’t happening. i think i need to talk to my chaplain some more too or something,
I think it’s worth asking about. I take Topamax and I don’t have any side affects from it so I would recommend it. The good thing about Topamax is it helps with headaches and sugar cravings also. I really like taking meds that do double duty. I have several meds that work on multiple problems and it makes me feel better about taking them. I don’t know if it will make you happy up to the end but it might take away some of the mood swings. I guess it’s worth a try.
ok thanks leaf i’ll discuss it with them. i’ve been getting off and on insomnia too which doesn’t help with emotions either.
A mood stabilizer could help @finally.
I am on Depakote, and it helps stabilize my moods.
Good luck!
