Gratitude for being able to post in English on international forum

It is my pleasure to be able to post in English on this international forum and become familiar with some of the names here.
Being able to master English to certain level greatly broaden my knowledge and chances to participate in non-Chinese discussion online (and occasionally, face to face).
There are certain topics I wanted to discuss but I given up due to my limited English proficiency.
Most of the times, I entertain myself through topics in Unusual Belief or Lounge as I try to avoid serious discussion and close association with forum members here as I have no clear picture about what is a Western culture.
This is my gratitude for being able to join this forum for this long, and I appreciate every like, every alias (@Plumber), every reply and every view from you.

And you speak very good English. I hope one day you achieve your dream of being a translator. I think you would be great at it!

Thank you. I still need to think for correct grammar before I post.

I try not to take the forum too seriously. Seriously, people put like 1% effort into what they post on here. And everyone is so self-centered, living in their own little world.

I am from South East Asia, but my great grandparents were from China, Thank you for your compliment, Kazuma.

Most likely most of us spend time relaxing ourselves here.

I would love to learn Korean too. English was taught in school since 9 years old. But I improve my English by studying the Computer science and Computer engineering (conducted in English) in college.

I’m proud of you. I’ve made an effort to learn Spanish, and I might try again. However, if I did develop good comprehension of Spanish it would still be hard for me to speak it in a way that I could be understood. My tongue is too thick. I cannot roll my “r’s”.
