ok I’ll try 151515
The doctors will be able to properly diagnose an allergic reaction or whatever else you think this may be (it’s an allergic reaction) and treat it properly. If I’m right and you don’t call, you’re dead. If you’re right and you do call, you get evaluated, treated, then sent home.
IDK who else needs to hear this, but you will NOT trick doctors into thinking you have a serious illness if you don’t actually have it. They study for 8 years minimum to recognize the true signs and symptoms of diseases and they will NOT fall for it if you are faking ill.
@Pikasaur are you still there?
I’m in a skype call with someone who will call me an ambulance at the first sign of worsening
can’t reply while we talk because keyboard is loud af
You are already well into the dangerous stages. You already took an allergy pill and still got worse, which is like the main sign of anaphylaxis. Please don’t wait until it is too late. By the time you can’t breathe, you have about two minutes until the actual death part happens
@Ninjastar is right. If it gets worse, it might be too late for you to get help. Go now to be safe
I was 4 when I nearly died of allergic reaction. My parents took me to the hospital because my arm kept swelling up so badly, and I threw up. By the time we walked in, I couldn’t breathe and my parents screamed for help. A nurse ran around the counter and stabbed me with an epi pen and it was the most horrifying thing I had ever experienced. They were like “You should have called an ambulance because your kid almost died”
I’m going to a nearby hospital, I’ll update you when I get back
Thank goodness, I’m proud of you
Holy crap. I have a severe allergy to insect stings. Honey bee especially. This lack of self preservation just made my lungs and throat tighten in sympathy
Don’t play with this. And when you get there, get a letter fron the hospital or take your papers from the visit to your work showi g you must not be exposed to perfume
The workplace must tell people to NOT wear perfume!
@Ninjastar is right. I have a wicked scent and dog allergy that I carry an epi pen for now.
Hey yall
I’m ok
They put me in an ER bed and did some monitoring of my stats on machines that went beep sometimes
I convinced a friend who speaks better Greek than me to meet me at the hospital
She’s staying in my guestroom tonight to make sure I’ll keep being ok
I feel like a shite for having everyone so worried
I’m still a bit woozy. Might call it a night.
I’m so glad you got treatment. Glad you’re okay now, rest up! Did you get a prescription for an Epi pen?
They wrote me a prescription for something in greek letters.
I’ll ask at the pharmacy on monday
I’m sorry I yelled at you. I was just very worried for your safety.
I know. If I were you I’d have been incredibly frustrated and felt a bit powerless as well, so I get where you were coming from. No worries :3
@Pikasaur. I’m glad you went to the ER and are being monitored and treated.
You mentioned earlier that you don’t have access to a phone at home. You should be able to get a cheap pay-as-you-go cell phone for not much money and no contract. You really should have a cell phone, at least for emergency use when at home or when out and about.
I’m glad you went and are ok.
