i’ve met people who were psychotic, young people, with their lives ahead of them, with talent and smarts, while in the institutions. i’d like to think they became sane again. how many times have you gone from psychotic to sane?
Every day is a struggle.
I may be psychotic for 3 days,
then suddenly sane, then
psychotic again

Three times. The first episode was the longest and most impactful. I was doing fine before that, although not quite as well as some of my peers. The other two episodes were milder, although still severe, fortunately I recovered much faster.
A lot in the early years. Maybe 3x in the last two decades (talking complete loss of insight).

I cant even begin to coubt how many times ive been psychotic since my illness began in 2014.

i have really felt not right at all for a long time until recently. enjoying the simple pleasures of life!

I switch between the two quite frequently especially if I don’t take my meds properly
My meds are titrating at the moment and one day I think it’s working, then the next not so much

there’s no escaping it: no matter how we try we will always be fooled. the truth would kill us.
I’m ok just feeling weird, like something is wrong. I’m not insane maybe sick (physical illness), i dont see myself mentally sick, it just doesn’t compute with me. oh well
