Id consider talking to my doctor about valerian. Its a natural sleep aid that i believe affects melatonin as well but its natural. In my experience its easy to over-use melatonin, until it becomes ineffective. I trust natural products just because people have using them for atleast thousands of years and i believe there a sort of synergy that you get from using plants we’ve been utilizing for food and medicine throughout our evolution as humans.
ummm, that’s a myth, that natural products help psych condition.
I wish though
brain chemistry of insomnia plays no games,
they call it Melatonin cuz that’s pretty much natural.
I take prescription Trazadone, and cross my fingers,
especially no nightmares from PTSD.
Valerian has a compound in it that’s closely related to benzodiazepines. The problem with natural medicine is the variability, so it can’t be dosed correctly plus the coctail of compounds and the no ability for ip profit
@OP Good luck, hope you succeed and give some hope to the rest of us
Hello Luke, it could also be you too. Have hope. At the time I came of antipsychotics I had not yet had an episode. The episode happened 2 years after
There is evidence of non-pharmaceutical treatments having efficacy on psychosis. The myth is that psychotic symptoms can only be treated with medicine
argument I didn’t want to get into, heard it all on Facebook.
