Hi everyone,

I’d be afraid to use it.
I have heard of other schizoprenics using it as a add-on.
I tried it, but couldn’t use it personally. I got a side effect where it felt like my brain kind of expanded and gave me pains. Hope it works out for you though. We are all different.
I’ve used it. It’s like caffeine, it gives a boost in concentration. Might help with negatives.
I’ve used it. It is stronger than coffee. No side effects for me at least.
Most supplemnts do nothing for schizophrenia. If there is any benefit, it’s due to feeling better in general which can make you feel better mentally. There is no natural “cure”.
I don’t usually respond to posts about supplements. A while back , I asked my psychiatrist about supplements. He said if they were effective for treating schizophrenia, they would have been approved by the FDA.
I don’t have any trust in any supplements. They are unregulated and are not held up to any medical standards. A lot of us would like to believe that they have found a magical way to treat our illness. If there is any effect, it’s most likely a placebo effect. Lots of snake oil out there, it’s just money making at its worst in my opinion.
Im not sure it seems to me to be a sedative herb. Could be good to take when you have anxiety. I googled jt and yea it says for anxiety.
I constantly have the issue of listening to my station and hearing a fantastic song that I absolutely cannot remember adding. I’m the only one who adds music, so…

life would be alot easier if any supplement actually helped sz
Haven’t really noticed that this did anything for my head. Used it for about a month, stopped, didn’t seem to be anything that changed from either starting or stopping. With sarcosine, I really notice when I’ve gone a few days without it – I start to drag a bit mentally.
I have tried this for depression many years ago, it did nothing for me.
my pdoc forbade all supplements for mental health, specifically ginko biloba because I took it before I got sick for energy…it’s supposed to be bad for schizophrenics…
Ginkgo used to be said to cure Alzhiemers turned out it was a scam but I think it helps with blood-to-brain flow, antioxidents and oxygen. Its healthy for you it just isnt a full cure nor will it completely reverse your symptoms.
