Getting a new Bed

I have decided, i have had enough of my terrible bed and i need to invest in a really good one.

I think the topper i had has caused me a lot of pain and im hoping its not done permanent damage.

with a new bed then atleast i will know its not bc its a cheap bed, i will buy a good one with a good frame.

We spend a long time in bed so its worth the cost I’d say.

Does anyone else get pain bc of an old mattress or topper? I think there was something wrong with them from the beginning.

my bed at home is good. But I am spending a lot of time at gfs lately. I snore so I am trying to be considerate and not sleep on her bed and keep her awake while shes sleeping, even though she says I can. She has no couch so I have been mostly sleeping on the floor. It is not very comfortable.

Hard on my back. Good luck with the new bed.

My current mattress is a memory foam one from Amazon. I like it. It wasn’t that expensive. Before this mattress, I had a spring one and the springs broke. I was getting back pain sleeping on a broken bed. I felt really uncomfortable for a while.

That sounds like true love @Bowens

@daydreamer yes i had an awful mattress and id wake up with leg pain in middle of the night and it was an expensive ortho one. I have a cheap soft one now much better!

I got a new mattress and box spring a few months ago. My old mattress was killing my back. My dad offered to buy me one. It’s a really nice one. Hopefully I don’t end up in that situation again.

That looks super plush

My Sister is coming on Wednesday to drive me to the bed store, they have a machine that measures what bed would suit me, I took a hit on the topper i bought & i doubt i can get a refund as its unboxed etc it cost just under £100 :frowning:

I’m willing to spend over £500 for a really good bed.

I doubt you know the animated show “Naruto”. The main character has got a spiritual beast called “nine-tailed fox” locked inside his body. The photo above somehow reminded me of that.

Hah I wouldn’t call myself obsessed but I’ve watched most episodes, including so-called fillers (mini-stories that aren’t covered by the manga). Been told to avoid Boruto, so I did.

boruto was worth watching for me but i skipped boruto filler. it has some awesome fights. and everything leading up to the boruto two blue vortex was cool i read the new chapter each month, but some changes and things that happened in boruto were mildly infuriating and still have yet to be resolved after years

i slept on the new memory foam topper last night, I’m now not sure i want a new bed but I’m still going to the bed shop tomorrow, i also need 2 new pillows.

I’d recommend a good bed. I bought a new one online during COVID lockdown.

memory foam is instantly comfortable bed but i read latex mattress has most support firmness. kinda makes sense considering also how memory foam insoles in shoes dont provide much benefits other than feeling good, but stuff like cork or something firm that adjusts to pressure distribution is best
