I’ve mentioned this a ton of times before in regards to Genealogy…
How come you are told you are related to a Nobleman, a wealthy Merchant, a Politician or a Prince? But you are never told you were related to that guy who shoveled the elephant poop at the Circus.
Most people of non-African ancestry today carry some Neanderthal DNA.
@Patrick It has a lot to do with what records were available pre parish records etc. The lives of the well to do were chronicled in a way that the farm labourer etc wasn’t. I’ve done several private ‘test trees’ and accepted suggestions re a person’s parents to see what happens. After a while the aristocrats and military officers etc turn up as suggested parents.
Not really in a hurry to find out I’m half cockroach on dad’s side. My doctor thinks I might be given how I’m not dead yet from things I should be dead from.
My generation is still alive what are the possibility?
