I’m a guy. I also am annoyed that our profiles do not show gender. I get it keeps us from flirting and having 15 children with sz and countless other issues but in truth there is tact between genders that is overlooked and even called sexist but in my opinion it’s healthy to be tactful in gender specific communication. Rant over ty

Years ago on the internet the simple things was A/S/L- age sex and location.
Like all human endeavour on the internet it ended up being all about sex and other concerns and it became politically correct to not ask such things as if that was a problem. It certainly wasn’t a problem for those who used and abused websites like this to troll for dates.
Seriously. It’s not bad if people hook up or whatever. It’s only natural to want to know whether your male or female. Straight or Gay, Black or white, Tender or aggressive. etc etc…It’s only bad when people do it constantly and thus the drama!
The modern internet is anything but friendly for folks these days. Sure we had problems but mostly they were dealt with by the community and it wasn’t too bad…

In my more sane moments I am male but would prefer to be female. In my less sane moments I wonder. Gender aside I’m a socially dysfunctional human being.
Female here. I agree, there is a community of people with cats on their profile pics, but I think some might be male, they’re out there.
