I just got back from Los Angeles where I spent the weekend with my gentleman friend. I am back home in Seattle now.
My guy friend is about 6-foot 1-inch tall. I happened to notice he was wearing nice shoes and, not surprisingly, they looked to be about an 11 or 12 in size. My son is 6’2" and wears a 12, so that makes sense. Anyway…we get back to the hotel and he is sitting on the bed and takes his shoes off and his feet are like a size 8! I mean, there is nothing wrong with size 8 feet, but he was wearing shoes at least 3 sizes too big because he is self-conscious about it. I have never seen that before! I have seen tall men with smaller feet, but I have never seen one wear huge shoes to compensate. It’s harmless, but funny 
I didn’t (and won’t ever) say anything about it but wanted to share the story.
I have seen women stuff their feet into tiny shoes, but I have never seen a man with small feet wear huge shoes.
There is a first for everything! I am guessing he stuffs the shoes to keep them on his feet. He is a nice guy, so I don’t care about his feet. I just thought it was cute
