I bought a crystal 30 minute sand timer. It’s really pretty. I thought she could use it to time her workouts because she’s always asking me how long it’s been and she’s supposed to do it for 30 minutes. And I got the one with golden sand which matches her décor nicely so I’m happy with that gift.
Then I bought some super bango dri erase pens in all different colors. She loves putting graphs and charts on her many dri erase boards and hanging them all over the house and I thought it would be nice to have nice pens with nice colors.
I also bought a really pretty leather journal. It’s embossed with a design and has metal decorations hanging from it that I suppose could be used as book marks. My sister loves to keep a journal and has kept them all from years ago for reference.
My sister always jokes about living in the perfect world of rainbows and unicorns so I bought a special wrapping paper off Amazon that’s rainbows and unicorns and her card is a picture of a unicorn with a saying about rainbows. I bought brightly colored bows today to go with it. I also picked up a few small items to wrap up like post it notes and such.
I’m going to surprise her with a small cake of some kind, whatever looks good at the bakery that day. And other than that I can’t think of anything else.
So does that sound like a nice birthday? Should I buy her more stuff? It’s sort of hard to shop for her because if she wants something she just buys it for herself, she’s not hurting for money at all.
