Heres my first real attempt at using pastels. I usually stick to grey scale work because i suck at blending and matching colors. Im unable to portray the depth of a piece like i can in just graphite or charcoal. But i figured id give it a shot so let me know what you think. Meant to be somewhat impressionistic in style. I definitely have the wrong paper to blend the pastels smoothly, but heres my first real try at something in color in over 10 yrs.

Good for a first time with a new medium , it shows with practice you could master it in the style you choose.
