I’m excited and nervous. I’m working 10 am to 6 pm today, so yeah, have three hours until my shift starts. It’s about an hour commute for the facility I’ll be working at today, though I’ll give myself an hour and a half to get there. There could be some heavy traffic, plus I might have trouble finding it, so I’ll give myself extra time.
I’m excited about this job; I know I’m going to like it much better than the gas station, not to mention it pays a lot more.
It’s in the cannabis industry; I’ll be doing things with the plants, including harvesting and trimming the leaves off of harvested plants.
It went pretty well, I think. I was working more slowly than everyone else, but I’ll get faster, hopefully. Time went by pretty fast, and I got paid cash at the end of my shift. That’s how it will always be, just getting paid at the end of every shift, instead of having to wait for payday.
Wonderful. Glad it went well for you. So getting paid at the end of your shift is a sweet thing but have you found anything about the job that is difficult?
