Finally got an antibiotic called in

It’s trmethoprim which is Bactrum minus the sulfa. I’m allergic to Bactrum but the drs think it’s the sulfa I’m really allergic to. It needed to be ordered so I’ll get it tomorrow. It turns out this infection is resistant to many meds, including the really strong ones usually only given in the hospital.

Just took my first dose. I had to wait for the pharmacy to order it. They have me taking double the normal dose for some reason. I’m not feeling good yet but I hope I’ll feel better soon.
