Well, they may call to verify information if the information you gave them is different from what they have on file. But you did nothing illegal and you have nothing to hide. I’m sure people do it all the time and they know it.

I don’t know if this relates to what’s happening to you. I have a court case on a guardianship matter and there is a test for capacity so they don’t become my guardians but I keep thinking it has to do with them sending me to North Korea and deciding capacity to be a dictator. It’s like it’s related but not quite as everyone keeps telling me here. But I get paranoid anyway even though one doesn’t have much to do with the other. I just think it does. And then there’s my boyfriend who makes me paranoid. I think he’s the devil but that isn’t likely true either. But I keep thinking it is.

They do catch suspicious spending… so I suppose they do at some level…
But 25dollars isn’t enough to raise a flag I don’t think
You and your mom have nothing to worry about, the only thing to keep in mind that in Canada if you let someone else use you debit card (family included) it voids some of the protections. So as long as you mom does not tell anyone your safe/
If someone was to make fraud charges on the card and you mom said just me and my daughter use it, the bank would not cover the fraud charges. So make sure she knows not to tell
