Feeling different

I feel different than I did last time I was on this dose of Haldol. I’m on 20mg a day of Haldol. I feel pretty good despite the sedation at first. The pdoc never answered back I think they are still looking for a solution or they’re hoping the sedation will decrease as I continue the medication.

I take high doses and I have no sedation. I wish I was sedated sleeping all day long.

sometimes we build up a slight tolerance to meds from the first round and it presents in different ways.

that sedating effect is pretty typical for me with a few of them first time around. depends on different factors.

give it a lil time to allow your chemistry to balance out.

notice any other differences?

Less voices, but more days of feeling sad or wired. I know it’s only been a week but it’s helping I hope so anyway.

some improvement is better than none. i’m no professional but give it a lil more time.

it’s was very confusing the first time i took a psych med, i didn’t know what to expect but by knowing my limits and being internally aware (plus giving it due time) allowed me to see more for myself what worked and what didn’t.

eventually i found my own time frame, as long as i don’t have severe negative interactions from the beginning then i usually give it about a month at first to fully stabilize so i can gauge the med proper like, see it’s effectiveness and then i can go from there with the next step.

not easy but you got a good start. hope this helps.
