Favorite TV show of all time

whats yours?

Mine is Battlestar Galactica (the newer, 20003-2010 version).
Everything about that show is perfect to me.
It deals with just about everything: good, evil, survival, friendship, romance, war, community, and space!
It was by far the most suspenseful show I’ve watched, also.
I was so into it, i felt like it was real and the characters were real people.

Honorable mentions: LOST, Little House on the Prairie, Breaking Bad

Breaking Bad hands down for drama. Walter White is one of my favorite protagonists of all time. The Wire, Sopranos, Mad Men and Game of Thrones are all excellent.

Probably Arrested Developement for comedies. I also enjoyed Curb Your Enthusiasm and Peep Show.

An old Cartoon Network show called The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. I have a pretty big tattoo on my back with the main 3 chars.

I also really liked Stranger Things.

i heard the premise and just couldn’t become interested. i know people that love that show, though

Pinkman was great! Did you know he was actually supposed to be killed off after season 1? He did such a great job acting, they decided to alter the story and keep him on! I’m happy they did!

I never knew that. I don’t think breaking bad would be breaking bad without Jesse.

my favorite tv show was spongebob squarepants, when I was younger. though nowadays with my paranoid sz, my new favorite show is that special channel you get when you turn the tv off.

I like those too, except for one; Game of Thrones. I hate that show.

Yeah, no kidding. It’s funny to think how different the ending would of been without him. He ends up being the most “morally pure” character after becoming clean.

yeah thats funny that it happened that way. and, Walter became evil by the final season. he started out so innocent and well-meaning.

Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are both in movies now

I’m curious, what do you hate about it? I love the fact that the characters are morally ambiguous. It’s a breath of fresh air to have characters that don’t follow “black and white” rules of morality imho.

Interesting! I haven’t kept up with them after Breaking Bad ended. Is any of their new work worthwhile?

never seen their new stuff but i would watch it if i had the chance

The idea of main chars dying in the middle of the show is intriguing, but the rest is just terrible imo.
I don’t like the setting, everything is way too boring, slow and confusing and it is terribly sexist. Plus, I couldn’t tell the chars apart, as they all seem to follow the same theme. The only ones I could tell apart from the others were Jason Momoa’s char and that blonde chick he married.
My opinion could be unreliable though, due to the fact that I had drug intoxication from Abilify while I was watching it and I watched like 4 episodes before giving up.

I forgot to mention Nacros and Rome in my original post!

I’m curious if Narcos will be worthwhile now that the primary antagonist is out of the picture. Apparently Netflix has renewed it for two seasons though.

There are a few main characters in GoT, not all of them die. I think it’s too violent, and I don’t like gratuitous violence on tv or books just to gain audience, it’s perverted. A lot can be done without so much violence. I think it’s, creativily speaking, very shallow. But I also think there’s a depth in GoT’s plot that very few shows or books are able to accomplish… Society’s values, religion, politics, historic accounts, etc. It’s very rich in that department. I think George R.R. Martin is a pervert too, but that’s just my opinion  I don’t agree with the sexism, there are a lot of female main characters with a lot of importance.

Breaking Bad is the only answer. And Lost, and Stranger Things. But mostly Breaking Bad.
