Favorite horror films?!

I absolutely hate clowns.

Have you seen “It?”

I’ve seen the old IT with Tim Curry thought it was pretty good but liked the book better.

Speaking of clowns I enjoyed this movie

Nope, that is on my not-even-going-to-watch-this-for-money playlist.

The ‘it’ screenshots are enough to make me realize I really am not a horror fan.

I would much prefer twilight zone, which is more sci-fi than horror.

The remake is cool too.

It’s one of my favorite horror novels!

I watched black moan snake yesterday really good movie about sexual abuse and recovery.

It’s kind of horror

Because

The girl seems to be possessed to Sam Jackson a religious man in the movie.

Movies like that are too scary for me

Silent hill is probably one of my fave horror movies. The sequels arent that great though.

I grew up with the old cheesey Hammer horrors. Damsels in nighties getting seduced by Dracula etc. The first horror film I watched was one of the first Hammer films not in that mould though. “The Quatermass Experiment” (1955) . I saw it in 1979 as an 8 year old and it scared me senseless.

I don’t like many, but I will say

The thing
Alien 1 - 3
Scream series

Some Sci fi scary movies are often more logical and believable in a way I find.

Scream series has a humorous element, and not gory, so I can take that.

But I can’t watch standard scary movies, I don’t like getting shocked, or all the gore.

Hereditary is the best horror movie of the last decade, in my opinion.

Other ones I like are The Grudge, the Halloween series, and the Conjuring films.

Halloween has more of a campy vibe in comparison to the others, but I find them fun to watch.

I also like hereditary and the conjuring films. I watch silence of the lambs the other night. I was alone and it was a little creepy. I’ve wanted to rewatch the exorcist but maybe when I’m not alone.

Hereditary was very strange. I think I saw that at the cinema.
