Has anyone tried or heard of Fanapt? I just saw a commercial for this schizophrenia medication that I never heard of.

When I was in the ward, the pdoc put me on fanapt. It really didn’t help. He put haldol with it it messed with my blood pressure.

It’s not new I tried it back around 2012. Did nothing for me. But it’s weird they’re doing commercials this late on it. It’s been out for quite a bit, cause it was out at least 5 years before I tried it. Wonder if they got an ingredient change and got to renew patent and are now pushing it. I know I only paid 5 bucks a month for 90 pills, but that was back then. If it got any changes that price is gonna jump again.
