Eye Test Identifies People with Schizophrenia

Apart from the tests mentioned in the article, I also have some sorts of lazy eyes. When I look at object at left corner, my right eyeball is still in its original position.

I believe this wholeheartedly. I’ve been pulled over a couple times and had police had me follow a pen with my eyes as a sobriety test, and I’ve flunked. Then I told then I hadn’t been drinking and I was taking medication and they eventually backed-off.

Before or after exposure to Antipsychotics?

I would recommend a computer program to simulate the eye test for schizophrenic.

The eye test is biomarker of schizophrenia. So it might be easier to diagnose the illness in the future. Prior to medication, I think.

Yes they say it could be a cheap early test to detect sz in the early stages in the article. So before neuroleptics I’d think.

It will be nice to have that added to their frail diagnosis methods.

Since they apparently fix biological problems in the brain with APs, might be best to just create biological tests to detect those biological problems they supposedly treat.

It’s not indicated in the article. The researchers already knew beforehand who in their subjects have Schizophrenia and we know what the first-line treatment they use.
