Eye contact (It's baaaaaack!)

How much is too much?

Do you hate it as much as I do?

I don’t hate it. Most of the times I don’t realize it.

I prefer glasses.

If the other person will avert their eyes sometimes its ok, but the dead stare as in gif I find awkward

On a second thought, it depends on which mood I am…

Sometimes I forget to break eye contact.
Other times I can’t bring myself to initiate it.
I can be socially awkward.

Depends on who is doing it
if it’s a male then I’m uncomfortable
if it’s a female then I’m uncomfortable
if it’s a dog or cat then it’s fine

I look some people deep in the eyes

eyes are the windows to the soul…I look in a person’s eyes…it comforts me.

I don’t like others looking into my eyes

I tend to avoid direct eye contact

Had a rough time on a recent 12 Step call becaue you need to look the person who called in the eyes and I am always concerned I am not getting it right.

Green Goblin always made spectacular eye contact.

Yes, but I’m not allowed to throw Goblin Grenades when I make eye contact. See the problem here?

I’m in a sort of receptionist boot camp this week for a new job and they keep stressing the importance of eye contact. I’m stressed about it. Making eye contact all day, everyday is a challenge, especially for people on the spectrum. It feels both too intimate and awkward. Plus I always need to look away when I’m thinking.
