I relate!!
I don’t do enough eye contact. Then I realize I’m not doing it and think “■■■■ I should make eye contact so I appear like a normal human” so I make eye contact.
But then I hold it for too long or too short and it just gets worse.
To top it all off, because I’m so focused on trying to make “normal human eye contact,” well at this point I have not been listening to the conversation at hand at all!
So I’m making awkward eye contact and I’m missing most of what the person has said to me.
Problems I tell you!!
