Do you have episodes of psychosis?

I always felt it was strange I didn’t have episodes…
I don’t think I’m psychotic anymore. Or, at least my present pdoc sympathizes with me. Up until about a year ago, I would have episodes of paranoia. And episodes of hallucinations and delusions. These would always go away briefly and then come back in unexpected moments. But, to me, it felt like I was constantly paranoid. Especially when out among people. I would be more at ease when home alone.
Before the meds definately episodic. Had a couple of major breaks the first was depression and second was psychotic. Same time of year and all. I think it’s pretty cyclic when it comes to symptoms.
I used to have episodes; now it’s chronic.

the first doctor I went to didn’t believe I had a psychotic disorder because when I wasn’t experiencing an episode I was able to recognize that I wasn’t actually telepathic and was just hearing voices. He told me it was probably caused by anxiety LOL. turns out he was just an idiot

I go through times were I’m very symptomatic other times I’m more normal
