Electroconvulsive therapy may have more adverse effects than thought

Denmark is the country where ECT is most used and in the media here there are lot of stories of how succesful a treatment it is. Nothing is said about the adverse effect or people like me where it does not work.

I hated ECT and it did not work.

They said that low current but frequent sessions can be of use to Treatment Resistant schiz. Not for me thanks haha

John Read is a well known antipsychiatry psychologist. As is Lucy Johnstone. They are both close to Joanna Moncrieff . All 3 have posted on the site that raises an alert if mentioned here.

I think ECT is extremely scary id only do it if its the absolute LAST RESORT
