Yes I experienced those too when coming off of an antidepressant.

Have you ever had ECT? I have, and occasionally have electric convulsion dreams as a remnant of it. For me it is flashback memory rather than meds. Have you ever had an electric shock to actually compare it to?

Sorry never had real ECT so can’t compare. Electric shock type feelings following SSRI withdrawal is common though.

When starting a new med and finishing an old one, I do get a numbness and hazy feeling, which I suppose can be a little like a mild shock ‘afterglow’ so I can relate it a little. I hope it passes for you quickly.

I’m sorry, @Jimbob. My brain zaps stuck around for two full months when I was tapering down my antidepressant. It was horrible.
