I’m such a loser. I can’t even make oven bacon. I should be banned from the kitchen. Try to make a decent meal and all goes to hell. The kids don’t mind bacon pieces thankfully. I have good understanding kidlets. Grrr ffs

What happened to it? 
Your value as a human being is not conditional upon your ability to make bacon! You’re a good and valuable person regardless of your kitchen skills. That said, you make delicious meals all the time, so don’t let this one mistake bring you down. You can cook well.

@Ninjastar and @everhopeful. Thanks. I was a chef for many years so I take cooking failures kinda hard. That said at least the pancakes and eggs turned out great. No one is starving.

I take cooking failures hard, too. Actually, what I just told you is word for word what Mr. Star tells me whenever I have a cooking failure. I place too much importance on my cooking skills.
