I did not find art therapy helpful when I was in the hospital or when I was doing outpatient partial hospitalization. I found it burdensome that it was something I had to do and go along with the program.
It’s not for everyone. I’ve been into art my whole life so it was right up my alley
That’s fair. I am more into the performing arts rather than arts and crafts or coloring. I’m not a crafty person.
Its ok, i have recently got more into it, and i enjoy it, I’m not that great at it but i try, i am currently working on a model ship & a witches house, i drew 2 horses yesterday as well, it was ok, the paper mache was making me anxious and she told me to stop, so i had a rest and i paper mached the witches house a bit which was easier (i hate paper mache )
A lot of the time i just sit and chat and wait for inspiration, i was feeling a bit depressed but it lifted a bit (i was surprised i drew the horses, i love horses though, i want to draw more of them.
idk why this article makes me feel like some sort of lab rat
I did art therapy at the ward. It was super fun because i was very manic lol. One woman asked me to help her with her project cuz i had interesting ideas
I’m not a fan, but I enjoyed ceramics a bit.
