I slept quite well and then I had my breakfast, took my meds and had my coffee. I called at my mother and she told that the ambulance is coming to take her to the hospital. She was released from another hospital yesterday for a few days and she was meant to go back to the hospital. But in this morning she did not feel like she could live. I have been talking with her on the phone while she is at the er and I shall visit her when she is transferred to the main hospital. All this is affecting my mind and I had to go and ride my bicycle just to clear my thoughts. Never knows what happens each day, but I am glad we are alive.
How old is your mom? Why doesn’t she want to live anymore?
I understand if it’s personal though.
Without going to any personals, this is quite a sad time for me, we never know when the end comes. Each life has some value no matter how rich or poor we are. As somebody said today, we all are going to the same place.
I went to see my mother at the hospital. She was not as well as she was one week ago. I go to visit her tomorrow in the morning. It is good that she has no pains. After coming from the hospital I met one person whom I know. We sat on the park bench and discussed many matters such as powerful painkillers they give to cancer patients to manage pain. I told how surprised I was to see nurses smiling at the hospital. They see terrible things every day and still they can smile. I also mentioned how I had sat on the same bench a couple of years ago and discussed with one man who told his wife had stomach cancer. She was operated and survived and I see her regularly. However her husband, the man with whom I discussed, had some medical condition and died 1.5 years ago. This is how our life is now. One day at the time.
Sorry to hear about your mom. Looks like you really care for her.i suppose each visit into a hospital puts life into perspective.
