I did stop my Zoloft for 5 days I’m february and the shaking in my arm persisted. When I raised Zoloft the shaking went away but then came back. I ask my doctor about it and he doesn’t seem to care. The shaking gets annoying as hell.
Hmmm concerning. You often have to be quite forceful with doctors when letting them know how upsetting a side effect is to you. I had to learn to stick up for myself pretty fiercely after being dismissed a lot. After those experiences I began trying to educate any future mental health professionals I saw by sharing in detail the severity of any side effects I experienced on meds and how they affected my personal wellbeing.
Don’t give up.
It’s easy to start to resent the medications. There have been times in the past when I was seeing them as punishment. I’d be careful experimenting with my med’s, though.
I think I’ve come to acceptance of the meds. I was at 90% when I stopped the Zoloft.
Then in March I was cutting my pills in half, taking them every other day or as needed.
The Zoloft really helps me it’s just making my arm shake
I think I’m fully accepting of taking the meds at prescribed dose now.
Only thing I do, I split my klonopin in half and take it every other day but that’s for the best.
