Does anybodys anxiety go up more these days when you have to drive or ride in a car? I just think about the amount of traffic on the roads and the sheer number of bad drivers and it makes me ill.

Riding on the bus doesn’t bother me, and I don’t have a drivers license. The only time I get nervous is when I was riding with my case manger. He’s not a good driver.

I was never a big bus fan but as Ive aged I like them more for the safety aspect of riding in them.
Thats what Im talking about, riding in the car is becoming more of a crap shoot out there.

Yes driving in traffic is stressful. Have to be very alert.

I just hate driving on the highway today i went through a toll road and forgot to grab a ticket probably going to get a huge bill in the mail

I hate traffic. If given a choice I’ll drive miles out of the way just to keep moving and moving slowly under 10mph isn’t my idea of a good time. Still. I’m not too anxious these days but it is annoying. I just sold my car. Going to rely on borrowing dads so I save a lot of money and with my volunteering finished I don’t have to drive to the city every week and deal with the horrible traffic.

Traffic is horrible and to me, it just seems to be getting worse.
I haven’t driven in years. I have an SUV, and I love it, but I rarely go out as it is, and never alone. My husband drives me everywhere. Yes, it’s incredibly anxiety-inducing. I try to remember to take a diazepam before going out, or I’m a wreck.

drivings fine with me. didn’t for a good three years and when i got back in the drivers seat i was thinking only of the speed limit i was going and counting cops on the road. but it’s fine. if i have to go somewhere it’s fine or i just take a drive down the coast or through towns.

I get very anxious when I get behind the wheel or even when I’m riding in a car.
I have to take some Klonopin to calm down.
Too much traffic and too many bad drivers.

I already take cymbalta but Im thinking maybe I should ask for something prn just for driving too.
