I just love my new slacks and shoes and shirts my mom got me and it helps my mood to know I am not just in my boxers hanging around the house.
Yeah, dressing up can feel good. I usually wear a shirt at work. It’s both appropriate, comfortable and makes me feel well because I like wearing them.
man, I used to love dressing up for work…was wearing a suit there before I got escorted by van away to be observed when I was finally showing my delusional behavior. long story…anyways…yes, it makes a person feel respectable.
Usually not for me. I have trouble with most formal clothing because of a sensory disorder. Completely wrong tactile experience. I am willing to suffer it very occasionally because bow ties.
I would like to wear formal attire again. Also means people perceive you differently. I must look like a tramp most days in my track suits.

I don’t like to wear fancy clothes because I’m too lazy to dress up into uncomfortable clothes that take longer than usual.
Give me a pair of jeans and tshirt and I’m happy
