Yes. Also, a lot of very creative people were eccentric and maladjusted. The price of creativity is high.

For some the advent of mental illness impacts on the ability to have and maintain friendships. For some of us though the difficulty with forming friendships was in place long before definite signs of mental illness were there.

The good thing is that these schizo mental illnesses often eliminate the need for friends.
