Does anyone else have this problem?

I scroll through a feed with several new messages and after about 20 or so it bounces back up to where I started. Makes it hard to catch up on the most recent posts. Anyone else have this problem or is it only me?

How are you accessing the forum? Mobile device or computer? Web browser or mobile app?

I’m not having this issue, but I’m using a computer with either Firefox or Edge browsers.

Sometimes my cell phone does that.

I have a similar problem if I go back far enough in a feed

I used to have similar issues when accessing the forum via Chrome on my laptop.

I use Firefox and do not have that issue.

I only seem to have it on a computer, I’m using chrome browser. It’s only when I am scrolling through new content.

Windows? I’m on Windows 11 with all current updates and Firefox and Edge are both current for me as well.

Also I am using a tethered smartphone for internet connection, if that makes a difference.

Yup Windows 10, I haven’t made the jump to 11 because I couldn’t understand which was serviced up to date longer. Google says windows 10 is supported longer than 11 but that doesn’t make sense.

I think it’s messed up, too. I finally bought myself some new hardware and both came with 11 installed. I have 10 running on a bunch of systems and two systems are still on 7 with no issues.

I seriously miss Windows 7, that was a usable operating system. I bought a Surface tablet with Windows 8 and didn’t like it so I got rid of it and went on a Linux bender for several years.

Me too. I’ve learned to read from the point it starts me at for unread messages, not to go backwards.

That’s on a Samsung cellphone on the app.

It’s not a big deal on threads I follow, but I never try to read an unread thread from the bottom anymore.

Me too but it happens only is selfie thread.

I feel like have you seen this person and message to me is, don’t scroll so fast.

I use Firefox and ubuntu

Even in phone for the selfie :selfie: thread.

So I rarely open it.

My cellphone does that all the time

Is it a Samsung? I’m only asking because we have a trend of two.

Nope. I have an iPhone

It does this for me too, on my samsung phone. I think it just happens on the selfie thread with my device.

I get it on the selfie thread also but it is with any large unread thread.
